### 1. Calling the API

#### Install the Client

```

#### Setup Your API Key
Set `INFERENCE_API_KEY` as an environment variable. Get your key from settings → api keys.

- **query** (string) *required*: search query. supports field prefixes: ti: (title), au: (author), abs: (abstract), cat: (category), all: (all fields). boolean operators: AND, OR, ANDNOT
- **max_results** (integer): number of results to return
- **start** (integer): pagination offset
- **sort_by** (string): sort by: relevance, lastUpdatedDate, or submittedDate
- **sort_order** (string): sort order: ascending or descending
- **category** (string): filter by arxiv category like cs.AI, physics.hep-th

#### Output
- **results** (array): list of papers with title, authors, summary, published, updated, arxiv_id, pdf_url, categories
- **total** (integer): total number of results
